UMUC Celebrates its 70th Anniversary


A pioneer in distance learning, UMUC has been improving the lives of adult learners since 1947.

UMUC will honor Gen. John W. Vessey Jr., at a special Veterans Day Ceremony and 70th anniversary celebration on Friday, 10 November. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Alicia Hunt, currently serving in Afghanistan, will be the inaugural recipient of the Gen. John W. Vessey Jr. Military Student/Veteran of the Year Award.
